Biological farm holiday
You can find us in the Upper Cecina Valley. The main cultural centre of the area is Volterra, an important historical Etruscan city, even rich in Roman, Medioeval and Renaissance remains.
The stony farmstead where we live is been recently restored respecting Tuscan architecture. The Podere l'Apparita is situated in front of S.Dalmazio, an ancient town 700m far. Here, the writer Carlo Cassola set his romance "Il taglio del bosco".
We serve breakfast (B&B) and dinner (for half treatment) in the veranda with a good view on the 12th century Rocca Sillana, easily reached on foot. We serve meals of fine Tuscan cuisine and fresh organic garden produce (vegetarian food on request), we use only our organic extra-virgin olive oil in meals and tables. |
